The collections are always created for every social need, equally at home in the city bar scene, on the terraces or in the pub. Their latest ranges including the Denim collection, Knitwear, Shirting, Outwear, Jerseys and watch collection.

It is a common misconception that the history of denim, the world's most famous fabric, started in the cowboy days of America. It actually started in the West Midlands that is! Luke believes that it's their duty to bring denim home to its roots, back to where it belongs, in Birmingham, England. At the very start of the world's industrial revolution the grafters of Birmingham created a 'need', and Luke's ancestors created a 'solution'. Thousands of industrial workers were toiling in extreme conditions, creating the raw materials the world needed to shake itself from the Middle Ages. Each worker desired the same thing, superior quality overalls to protect them from all the elements that they were subjected to.

CIRCA 1810;

A great ancestor of 'Luke' Johnny Roper only shared this secret with the closest members of his family while he applied for the relevant patents. During the time of waiting for the patents, somebody stole the 'secret formula' and it was believed to leave the country on a goods vessel from Liverpool docks, heading for the Americas. It was no coincidence that within 12 months the denim explosion in the United States took root and the truth never surfaced about denim's true origins. After nearly 200 years, 'Luke' are claiming back what is rightfully theirs, the heritage  in creating denim, and bringing denim home to where it belongs.
